New York Sun Works

New York Sun Works is a non-profit organization that builds innovative science labs in urban schools. They use hydroponic farming technology to educate students and teachers about the science of sustainability. We built a web-based application that allows them to manage the database of clients (schools) and users (teachers), and their subscriptions to a wide range of educational materials. The system can keep track of the usage at the individual levels as well as organizational levels. It keeps an audit trail of all the changes made to the site. The administrators can invite new users via email as well as send group emails to specified segments of users. The curriculum materials are organized by grades, units, and lessons.
